Do As I Say...not as I do

Just a quick update on my life as it currently stands; if not for you, then definitely for me. Work is in full-swing again, entering week 3, and very much looking forward to Xmas break each day. Got a pile of books to mark, which is a dread of teaching. I have not been able to be creative because I've been busy with work, and maybe it's an excuse, but the fact of the matter is that teaching is really tiring.

Above is a picture of my school as it stood in 1936. Not much has changed.

.............scotland...............

Loch Ness (in search of Nessy)

picture competition, which one is better of the two?

Scotland: Edinburgh to the Highlands to the Isle of Skye to Loch Ness and back to Edinburgh (with a bit of whiskey here n' there)

G'day mates, this is the first chance I've had to catch up with my fanbase (existant or non?) about my recent goings-on. I had a week long break last week and ventured off to Scotland. 5 days in Scotland allowed me to oversee some brilliant architecture, awe-inspiring mountain views, the taste of fresh sea air (and delicious sea food), and intoxicating single malt scotch whiskies. The hospitality of the Scotish is to be commended. They take a genuine interest in their visitors (probably for the company of getting a little tipsy). In all, a great trip, and another check off the list. (I also made a trip with my dad to south-west England - Torquay, Devon, Stonehenge, and the pics will come soon. Stay tuned.)
